Costa Rica Tarrazú
The Community Coffee program, though CoopeTarrazú (a coffee farmer cooperative), has a goal of increasing attention and traceability while also increasing the opportunities available to small producers.
While some of the most well known individual producers in Costa Rica have built their own micromills to capture the higher market for microlots, many smaller producers, who produce high-quality specialty coffee, are unable to have their own facilities. CoopeTarrazú fills that gap.
This specific offering comes from communities that represent collection centers in and around León Cortés in Tarrazu.
Taste
Mellow, sweet and tart with coffee cherry, caramel, mild floral and chocolate flavor.
Take a sip, you’ll be saying “That Dog’ll Hunt!”
